Now up to an incredible 210th release, Supernova’s assured Lapsus Music label welcomes Salamanda for a new EP. It offers two fresh cuts of the sort of infectious tech house that have made this label one of the most reliable in the game.
That Girl is first and is a low slung house tune with snaking bass that really gets under your skin. Sweeping filters add scale and some cool rapped vocals bring more fire to the groove. After that, Soma Drop is more dark and mischievous, with the bass sounding grittier here. The vocals again are streetwise and ghetto and the breaks in the beats and the playful synths all add to the party starting feel.
Once again this is a killer EP from Lapsus Music.
